Writer/Producer David Hemingson (Whiskey Cavalier, Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, Kitchen Confidential...,) joins us on The Matthew Aaron Show this Wednesday (7/3) as we broadcast from Chicago.

Our very good friend David sat down with Matt in Los Angeles recently for an in-depth oral history of the show WHISKEY CAVALIER which David created, wrote & Executive Produced along with Bill Lawrence. Dave goes into great detail about the conception of the show, to writing, shooting, working with Scott Foley & Lauren Cohan, the fight to save the show and tremendous fan support after it was canceled at ABC after one season, his next project and much more.

DAVID HEMINGSON has had the good fortune to work with some of the best writers on television on shows such as “Just Shoot Me,” “Family Guy,” “American Dad,” “Bones,” “How I Met Your Mother” and “black-ish.”


In addition, Hemingson created and executive produced the Fox comedy series “Kitchen Confidential,” starring Bradley Cooper. The pilot received a WGA Award nomination for Best Comedy Teleplay. He also created and executive produced the ABC dramedy series “The Deep End,” based on his experiences as a young lawyer in Los Angeles. Hemingson executive produced the critically lauded comedy series “Traffic Light” and  “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23” for Fox and ABC, respectively.

Hemingson created and runs the high-octane, hour-long action dramedy, “Whiskey Cavalier,” starring Scott Foley and Lauren Cohan. He also serves as executive producer.

Originally from New Haven, Connecticut, Hemingson resides in Los Angeles with his family. He is a graduate of Yale College and Columbia University Law School. Prior to becoming a writer/producer/director, he was an entertainment attorney at the Century City law firm Loeb & Loeb.
